abcV in Gramercy has a brunch menu for everyone, especially vegetarians, vegans, and wellness-loving folks.

Inspiring a cultural shift towards plant-based dining through creative use of farm-to-table ingredients, the Jean Georges restaurant is known for its minimalist aesthetic and healthy fare.

Interestingly enough, abcV is owned by abc carpet & home, which is on the same block off of Union Square and recognized around the world for its selection of one of a kind rugs, responsibly made jewelry, clean beauty, organic bedding, and more.

The menu is all vegetarian at abcV (it does include organic eggs) with some vegan options. Don’t be fooled — just because it’s healthy doesn’t mean it’s all light. Hearty options like steel cut oatmeal with spinach and kale, avocado lettuce cups, and fingerling potatoes with herb aioli are savory and satisfying. Plant-based breakfast bowls with nut butter and dried fruit or sweet potato and sprouts are lighter fare. For those who prefer a sweet brunch, there are gluten-free buckwheat pancakes and other fruity options. It’s worth noting that abcV’s gluten-free and vegan pastries are some of the best in town.
